TBE is optimized for DNA electrophoresis techniques using both acrylamide and agarose. Composition of (1X) TBE Buffer: 0.089 M Tris Base; 0.089 M Boric Acid; 0.002 M EDTA, Free Acid; Final pH 8.3. Each Ready-Pack™ (0478-2PK) prepares 1 L of 10X concentrate. One 40 L bottle (0478-40L) prepares 4 L of 10X concentrate, or 40 L of 1X solution.
